Beautification Ministry

Beautification Ministry

“Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.”

Mission:

The mission of the Beautification Ministry is to use the collective spiritual gifts of our members to beautify the church for the Glory of God.

Goals:

To regularly enhance the physical beauty of the church, especially during holidays, special services and events by using flowers, plants, paraments or other adornments that will enhance the worship experience. The ministry also aims to provide opportunities for members to work in unity and to fellowship while exploring their creative gifts and talents as they meet the needs of the church.

Mission:

To embrace the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we labor to develop Christian maturity in men through scriptural study, spiritual support, fellowship, and evangelism.

Goals:

Become the men God made us to be in order to change the world. Support the church and its ministries through faithful attendance, participation, giving and leadership by example. Build strong family relationships through love and service.

Mission:

The mission for the Christian Education Ministry to teach the Word of God; to train and equip God’s people for service and to provide our membership with tools that enable them to share their faith with others.

Goals:

The goal of the Christian Education Ministry is to provide interesting and motivational classes, seminars and workshops that will assist members of the congregation to grow in their Christian walk and to continue maturing as disciples of Jesus Christ. We will place special emphasis on our youth, encouraging and teaching them how to be active participants and leaders in service to the church.

Mission:

Our mission is to represent Christ in all that we do to ensure that His character is reflected in our hospitality and services. We will govern ourselves accordingly to maintain respect and proper protocol in all situations.

Goals:

To show compassion and love for God’s people while performing our responsibilities as the umbrella ministry that coordinates events involving food and beverages for church social functions such as repasts, weddings, breakfasts, luncheons and dinners in the Rev. Dr. Richard H. Puryear Fellowship Hall. We also strive for excellence and efficiency as we support other church ministry events that involve the preparation and serving of foods and beverages.

Dance Ministry

Dance Ministry

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship [Him] in Spirit and in Truth.” – John 4:24

Mission:

To be a dance ministry that encourages and ministers to the congregation, usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit by being 1) prayerful, 2) believing in the power of praise and 3) always worshiping in truth.

Goals:

The Dance Ministry’s primary goal is to exalt, praise and worship the Lord through the art of dance; To study and allow the Word of God to guide us in our choreography and movement. To pray and depend on the Holy Spirit to give us power to minister to the people of God through dance;  To learn how to care for and prepare our bodies for the physical work of dance ministry; To study the different styles and purposes of dance and incorporate them to complement the service and or assignment.

Deacons

Deacons Ministry

“They must keep hold of deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience.”
“They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them; let them serve as deacons.”

Mission:

The mission of the Deacons Ministry is to serve Christ by serving His people and to provide sound leadership and instruction by working with God’s under shepherd, the Pastor, as laid out by the Holy Scriptures. This mission will be carried out in a manner consistent with the goal of spiritual growth. The Deacons are to demonstrate in their daily lifestyle the character of Christ and His teachings by staying grounded in the Spirit of God, his presence, power, and authority.

Goals:

To develop a trusting relationship with the church laity by maintaining confidentiality in all matters. To provide an environment in the body of Christ and in the community that will encourage continuous growth in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To maintain a daily personal relationship with God through prayer, meditation, and Bible study. To seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all matters concerning the church and its congregants. To embrace the vision of the Pastor as the Holy Spirit leads him and support the vision through encouragement and sharing it positively with the congregation.

Deaconess Ministry

Deaconess Ministry

Galatians 5:25

Mission:

The mission of the Deaconess Ministry is to provide gracious, humble, courteous Christian aid to the Pastor and Deacons. This can be done by giving assistance, counsel, comfort and understanding to those in need, especially to younger women.

Goals:

Execute the office of Deaconess according to God’s gift that has been endowed to you. Be a source of hope, comfort and care for the church and our community. Assist the Deacons by preparing the communion elements, accompanying them during the serving of communion to our sick and shut-in; visit and minister to the sick and shut-in as well as families in need. Maintain a lifestyle consistent with the scripture as described in Proverbs 3:5-7

Mission:

The mission of the Missionary Ministry is to carry the message of Christian love to those in need, help to feed the poor, clothe the naked, effectively witness with power and authority, especially to those that are unsaved, and always be ordered by words and dictates of God.

Goals:

The goals of the Missionary Ministry are to conscientiously seek to find and minister to those in need, to visit homes, hospitals, nursing homes, comfort and encourage and edify.

Praying always for those in need, we will help in any area when called upon. In so doing, we will spread God’s word in all that we do, carrying the message of Christian love in all things through humanitarian work.

Helping Hands Ministry

Mission:

We are a group of faithful servants who are charged with the responsibility to accommodate our pastor in ensuring he is supported emotionally and appreciated for what he does for his flock. We provide gifts and pleasant surprises on special occasions and from time to time as an expression of our love and gratitude for all that he does.

Goals:

Our goals are to support the Shepherd of our church in executing his duties as Pastor. We aspire to be a source of encouragement and assistance to make his tasks as comfortable and uplifting as possible as He fulfills the will of God.

The mission of the Senior Services Ministry is to create and provide an environment that will spiritually enrich, strengthen, empower, nurture, encourage and address the concerns of Senior Citizens of Trinity Baptist Church and the Community.

Goals:

The goal of the Senior Services Ministry is to provide activities and information that will enhance the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical quality of life during the golden years.

Mission:

The mission of the Ushers Ministry is to serve as doorkeepers of the Church. We meet and greet members and visitors with a warm welcome, a smile, a good attitude, and direct people to their seat. We go out with the Pastor for special programs.

Goals:

The goals of the Usher Ministry are to take an active part by preparing the worshipers to receive a spiritual blessing from the house of God. Establish the initial feeling of welcome and encouragement. Demonstrate kindness, patience, alertness, and attentiveness to the entire congregation at all times.

Mission:

To inspire and empower the women of Trinity Baptist Church to be a God fearing unified group of women who strive to live in spiritual holiness and to serve our church and community with spiritual humility. To foster an environment that encourages and organizes women to study God’s Word and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Goals:

To encourage women and others to always put God first and to assist the church in meeting the spiritual, emotional, intellectual and social needs of women of all ages. We also provide opportunities for women to serve our church and our community.

Mission:

The mission of the Youth Ministry is to create a climate that appeals to youth within and outside the fellowship wherein they share a sense of belonging so that they might recognize and develop their own potential in becoming who they were designed to be. This ministry seeks to affirm and motivate youth with words of encouragement so that they might themselves come to possess the confidence to serve and make the deliberate choice to serve out of love, putting others ahead of themselves as they embrace God’s purpose to advance the Gospel.

Goals:

Set aside quiet time regularly to pray, listen to God, and to read His Holy Word for spiritual growth and nourishment. Engage in Bible study and exposition, with the benefit of feedback, to promote daily life application. Participate in the work of the church and worship leadership.
